Cherita shares the incredible and emotional story of her journey from the island of Barbados to competing on the world stage.

She opens up about the defining moment of her athletic career: qualifying for the 1996 Atlanta Centennial Games, only to suffer a devastating, career-altering injury during a practice meet just days before her event. Cherita describes the "highest and lowest points" of her life happening simultaneously as she watched her Olympic dream slip away while sitting in the dorms.

We also explore her life after the track, including her transition into real estate and her experiences navigating the challenges of long-distance relationships and the power of a woman’s intuition. Cherita’s story is a testament to the fact that even when "life be lifeing," you can overcome grief and a "public L" to find a new path and a powerful sense of hope.
